In a unanimous ruling, the Supreme Court (SC) ordered the disbarment of lawyer Lorenzo “Larry” Gadon for “misogynistic, sexist, abusive and repeated intemperate language.” Gadon had earlier been appointed as Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte received high trust and approval ratings in the June 2023 survey conducted by big data research firm Tangere. In the survey results released on Wednesday, June 28, 79 percent of Filipinos expressed trust in President Marcos, while 84 percent expressed trust in Vice President Duterte in the past six months.
