Four hundred fathers availed of the free medical services provided by 1st  District Rep. Edwin Olivarez and a team of doctors and staff at the Barangay Sto. Nino gym on Tuesday, June 27.

According to Olivarez, the medical mission, with the theme “Dad’s Hapi Day” is a post celebration of Father’s Day to give all fathers in the city time to relax and give them medical services.

It offered free medical check-up and doctor’s consultation, ECG (electrocardiogram), prostrate ultrasound, and HGT (blood sugar test).

Aside from the medical services, the participants were also given free medicines, vitamins, and haircut.

Olivarez said a one–time-free-throw shot for the fathers was also held wherein the participants were given gifts.

The medical team was led by Ospital ng Parañaque -1 (OsPar 1) Director Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan, OsPar 1 administrator Dr. Darius Sebastian, Chief Nurse Meda Calderon, with staff who rendered medical services. Chief of Staff Atty. Fernando “Ding” Soriano, Eva Nono, Mar Jimenez, and Bernie Amurao also assisted in the medical mission.
