College student yields P1.7-M shabu in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY â€“ Police arrested a 19-year-old college student and seized 255 grams of suspected shabu worth P1.7 million in a buy-bust operation in Purok Tahong, Barangay 2 here on Tuesday, June 27.

Police Capt. Paul Vincent Pendon, head of Police Station 2, said the teenage suspect was placed under monitoring for about three weeks after they received information about his alleged illegal activity. Pendon said the suspect is one of those who are allegedly holding or keeping recovered illegal drugs. Suspect yielded the P500 marked money and P11,000 boodle money. The suspect is considered a high-value individual, according to the police. Police are probing to get more information about the source of his illegal drugs.
