10 drug suspects, 4 wanted felons, 2 gamblers arrested in Bulacan

The Bulacan Provincial Police Office (BPPO) launched several anti-criminality operations on Tuesday, June 27, which netted 10 drug suspects, four wanted persons, and two gamblers. (Photo courtesy of Bulacan PPO)   Based on the reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, two individuals listed in the Philippine National Police/Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PNP/PDEA) watchlist were arrested by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Angat and San Miguel police.  Angat DEU arrested Daniel Hernandez and confiscated from him three sachets of illegal drugs. The San Miguel DEU arrested Rysan Silverio and confiscated five sachets of illegal drugs in his possession. The Bulacan Police DEU conducted a buy-bust operation in Bocaue and arrested Herold Robles alias "Noel" and seized from him six sachets or 5 grams of illegal drugs with a standard drug price of P34,000. Hagonoy DEU arrested Crisanto Roberto alias "Sonny" and Jon Jon De Leon and confiscated P4,760 worth of illegal drugs; Bocaue DEU arrested Jean Nocolas, Bonifacio Dorupa, Jovenilo Evangelista, and Felimon Nicolas and confiscated illegal drugs amounting to P13,600.00; San Jose Del Monte DEU arrested Jerry Dejacto and confiscated another P13,600 worth of illegal drugs.  The overall confiscated illegal drugs totaled P73,460. The arrested suspects will be charged with violations of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Drugs Act of 2002. The police also arrested a total of four individuals by virtue of different warrants of arrest. Included in the series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of Municipal/City Police stations was a Most Wanted Person (Municipal Level) by the Balagtas police. Arrested was Rhia Valenzuela for three counts of Bouncing Check Law (BP 22); the San Jose Del Monte police arrested Ivan Tuando for two counts of Violation of Sec. 5(a) of R.A. 9262; the Pulilan police arrested Janssen Cardiño for violation of RA 9003 or ecological solid waste management act; while the Calumpit police arrested Erickson Bausin for Attempted Murder. The Bulacan PNP’s campaign against illegal gambling  led to the arrest of two gamblers for playing "Tupada." The San Jose Del Monte police arrested Alex Acuña and Lemmuel Luce at Evergreen, Subdivision, Brgy Gaya- gaya, CSJDM Bulacan.  The efforts of the Bulacan Police against all forms of criminality are in line with the instructions of the Chief PNP to PNP Region 3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr.
