Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval highlighted the city government’s accomplishments in her first 100 days in office, underscoring programs that combined compassion with concrete action to improve the lives of Malabueños.

“Sa unang sandaang araw ng ating panibagong termino, ipinakita ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Malabon na kayang pagsabayin ang malasakit at mabilis na aksyon (In the first hundred days of our new term, we have proven that the City Government of Malabon can deliver both compassion and swift action),” she said.
Disaster response and public welfare
During times of calamity, the city government distributed over 1,500 food packs, 900 hygiene kits, and 5,000 hot meals to evacuees, in coordination with volunteers and partner agencies.
The Blue Card Program also continued to provide financial aid to residents, serving more than 93,000 household heads as of Sept.14.
The local government also extended additional cash assistance to solo parents, senior citizens, and low-income families, while intensifying livelihood and skills training for PWDs, daycare learners, and the youth.

Health and infrastructure development
Thousands of residents benefited from the “Lab for All” initiative, which brought free medical services closer to communities.

The city also inaugurated the new 200-bed San Lorenzo Ruiz Hospital building, expanding access to quality healthcare for Malabueños.
Construction has begun for a five-storey hospital building to further enhance the city’s medical capacity.

Simultaneously, the local government continues road clearing, drainage works, and housing projects for relocated families in resettlement areas.
Economic growth and employment
Malabon’s local economy continues to grow, ranking second in the entire National Capital Region (NCR) in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

Over 1,100 jobseekers participated in local job fairs, with 200 hired on the spot, while nearly 1,000 residents gained temporary employment through the TUPAD and SPES programs.

Environmental sustainability and clean governance
To strengthen environmental protection, the city sustained dredging, cleanup drives, and tree-planting activities in all barangays, alongside regular maintenance of pumping stations.
The “Mobile Jeannie” Services also reached flood-prone areas, offering cleanup assistance and water distribution.

Under good governance, Malabon completed its Executive-Legislative Agenda 2026–2028 and achieved the ISO 9001:2015 Certification, affirming the city’s commitment to efficient and quality public service.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) also recognized Malabon as the Best Local Government Unit for implementing the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) — a testament to strong leadership and collaboration in improving local livelihoods.
