A total of 55 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the Malabon City Jail have been given the opportunity to participate in the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program.
Under the initiative, beneficiaries will participate in cleaning and repair work inside the jail facility, providing them with productive activities while serving their sentences.

The program was implemented through the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in partnership with the Malabon Public Employment Service Office (PESO).
According to officials, the program not only provides temporary livelihood but also helps instill discipline and the value of meaningful work among participants.
BJMP personnel and local authorities thanked DOLE and PESO for their support, saying that the program offers hope and opportunities for rehabilitation to PDLs.
