MB Daily News Update: Significant fuel price rollbacks seen next week

In another reprieve to the burgeoning fuel price hikes that have bedeviled the Filipino many this year, oil industry players said that they expect the price of gasoline to go down by as much as P2.70 per liter, of diesel by P2.20 per liter, and kerosene by P1.85 per liter on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

The Department of Health (DOH) reported that 67 million Filipinos have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 that all but fortified the country’s protection against the coronavirus.

Taal Volcano continued to be restless with the Philippine Institute on Volcanology (Phivolcs) recording 36 volcanic quakes in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the Ulama Councils of Zamboanga Peninsula and Bangsamoro announced that the start of the holy month of Ramadan will be on Sunday, April 3, based on the moon sightings performed by the group on Friday, April 1.
