Timeline of orientation sessions
DepEd confirmed that the rollout of orientation sessions will begin in April 2026, immediately following the issuance of official policies.
Initial briefings for regional and division officials, as well as school heads, will begin in April, while orientation sessions for master teachers and classroom teachers will start in May.
“The orientations will begin this April, immediately after the issuance of the relevant policies, starting with regional and division officials and school heads,” DepEd said.
DepEd added that orientation sessions for master teachers and classroom teachers will be conducted in May.
The agency emphasized that the schedule was carefully planned to respect teachers’ welfare. Educators will not be required to report during their 30-day summer break in April, allowing them adequate time to rest after the academic year.
“This schedule ensures that teachers can fully observe their 30-day break this April and will not be required to report during their rest period,” DepEd added.
