“Isa sa mga napag-usapan ang pagpapatupad ng Matatag Curriculum para sa SY 2024-2025 upang masiguro na maayos ang implementasyon nito (One of the topics discussed is the implementation of the Matatag Curriculum for the school year 2024-2025 to ensure its smooth implementation),” Duterte said.
“Pinaabot din natin sa kanila na bukas ang Kagawaran sa pagbigay ng pagsasanay sa kanilang mga guro kaugnay dito (We also conveyed to them that the Department is open to providing training for their teachers regarding this matter),” she added.

Aside from the MATATAG Curriculum, Duterte also discussed with the officials and representatives of private schools the various issues they face and the private education sector in general.

“Ikinagagalak ko po na personal ko silang nakausap at personal tayong nakapagdayalogo sa kanila (I'm glad to have personally spoken with them, and we engaged in a personal dialogue with them),” Duterte said.
Duterte said during the meeting, the representatives of private school associations raised their concerns.
“Dito, napakinggan natin ang kanilang mga hinaing at napag-usapan kung ano pa ang karagdagang suporta na maaaring maipagkaloob ng Kagawaran sa kanila (Here, we listened to their concerns, and we discussed what additional support the Department could provide to them),” she said.
Meanwhile, Duterte expressed her gratitude to the representatives of the private schools' association for their suggestions and advice. She also proposed a regular meeting between the private schools and DepEd.
“Makakaasa po kayo na patuloy ang suporta ng Kagawaran upang makamit natin ang pangarap para sa ating mga Pilipinong mag-aaral (Rest assured that the Department's support will continue as we work towards achieving our dreams for Filipino students),” she added."
