“Arirang,” the new album of K-pop superstars BTS, has claimed a record on music streaming platform Spotify.
Spotify announced that BTS’ “Arirang” has bagged the record for Spotify’s most streamed album in a single day in 2026 to date.
“Arirang” is also one of the most pre-saved album Countdown Pages in Spotify history with over five million pre-saves.
The milestones signal a massive start to BTS’ new defining era, and the comeback celebrations are only just beginning.
To keep the momentum going, BTS partnered with Spotify to give ARMY around the world more ways to dive into the world of “Arirang” through in-app moments and immersive experiences.

⦁ Now Live: BTS Music Quiz - An in-app experience that lets fans flex their BTS knowledge and challenge friends head-to-head.
⦁ March 24, 6:30 a.m. KST: BTS Listening Party - BTS will host a Listening Party on Spotify to engage with fans in real time as they introduce and stream their new music.
⦁ March 23: Spotify x BTS: SWIMSIDE in New York - Held exclusively for ARMY [BTS fans], 1,000 of the group’s loyal listeners in New York City will gather to celebrate the comeback with immersive album-themed experiences, a special performance and Q&A.
⦁ March 27-29: Spotify X BTS: SWIMSIDE Cruise in Seoul
⦁ This three-day event invites selected Spotify Premium users to step into the world of “Arirang.” The immersive experience begins at the Spotify Lighthouse in Yeouido Hangang Park, before leading into a music-filled cruise along the iconic Han River.
The partnership marks a definitive moment in pop culture, showcasing the power of music to unite listeners across borders.
The album sold four million copies in the first three days of release and topped the weekly album chart.
The K-pop boy band held their “BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” on March 21 at the Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, drawing scores of fans.
The concert became No. 1 in 77 countries and territories on Netflix.
