BTS' 'Arirang' concert in Seoul premieres at No. 1 in 77 countries on Netflix
The historic comeback and reunion concert of K-pop superstars BTS at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21 topped the ranking on Netflix.
The “BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” was live streamed on Netflix, offering people around the world the chance to watch the concert.
According to streaming analytics website FlixPatrol, the “BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” debuted in the top 10 on Netflix in 92 countries and territories.
“BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” is No. 1 on Netflix in 77 of the 92 countries and territories, including the Philippines, the US, South Korea, Japan and the United Kingdom.
The 77 countries and territories where “BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” debuted at No. 1 on Netflix are Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong-Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Reunion, Romania, Salvador, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
“BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” premiered at No. 2 in 14 regions: Bahamas, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Martinique, Mauritius, New Caledonia, Nigeria, South Africa, Sweden, and Trinidad and Tobago. The show is No. 3 in New Zealand.
Korean entertainment company HYBE earlier estimated that the “BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” gathered 104,000 people, including 22,000 ticket holders, in the Seoul area to watch the live show.
"Based on a comprehensive analysis of ticket holders, users of the three major telecommunication companies and budget carriers, and foreign visitors, it is estimated that approximately 104,000 spectators attended the performance at Gwanghwamun Square," announced HYBE.
