The Manila Hotel wins 'Best Heritage Hotel' at Tatler Best Philippines 2025

The Manila Hotel, a timeless symbol of the country’s hospitality and cultural heritage, was named "Best Heritage Hotel" at the Tatler Best Philippines 2025 awards on March 17. This honor reaffirms its legacy as the Grand Dame of Manila, a title it has upheld for decades.

Established in 1912, the Manila Hotel has played a significant role in Philippine history. Designed by American architect William Parsons, it was envisioned as a premier luxury hotel in Asia. Over the years, it has welcomed world leaders, royalty, and cultural icons, including General Douglas MacArthur. The hotel also bore witness to pivotal moments in the nation's history, from state visits to diplomatic gatherings.

Its recognition at the Tatler Best of Philippines awards highlights its success in preserving heritage while adapting to modern standards of luxury. With its grand lobby, intricate woodwork, and timeless interiors, the hotel retains its historic charm while incorporating contemporary comforts. Its dining establishments, including Café Ilang-Ilang, continue to offer classic Filipino and international cuisine, attracting both local and international guests.
