Police have arrested another suspect in the killing of a man inside a hotel room in Barangay E. Rodriguez, Cubao, Quezon City, whose body was discovered on Thursday night, August 28.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) identified the second suspect as “Michael,” 30, a resident of Pasay City. He was apprehended at a lodge in San Rafael, Bulacan, around 1:45 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, based on information provided by “James,” the first suspect arrested on Friday, Aug. 29.

Also arrested was a room attendant identified as “Anthony,” who allegedly attempted to obstruct the police operation.
Later that morning, at around 7:45 a.m., police recovered Michael’s getaway vehicle in Trece Martires City, Cavite, with the assistance of concerned citizens.

Police records show that Michael had prior cases involving drugs and violence against women in 2022.
The arrested suspects will face charges for robbery with homicide and Republic Act 10883 or the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016, while “Anthony” will face charges for obstruction of justice.
The investigation into the killing is still ongoing.
