The much-anticipated Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill has unveiled its interiors and menu offerings this week, ahead of its scheduled opening at Newport World Resorts on August 31. The new restaurant is poised to be a major draw at the resort, promising guests a dining experience that echoes the culinary excellence for which Ramsay is renowned.

Gordon Ramsay, a well-known figure in the culinary world, is recognized for his fiery personality, multiple Michelin stars, and global chain of restaurants. His latest project at Newport World Resorts in Pasay City marks his first restaurant in the Philippines, further expanding his international footprint. The new restaurant is the second Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill in Asia, following the first in Malaysia.

The opening of this restaurant was announced earlier this month following a meeting between Ramsay and Newport World Resorts Chairman Kevin L. Tan in Macao.

Tan highlighted the significance of this collaboration, noting that it underscores Newport World Resorts' commitment to providing innovative concepts for their guests. Tan noted in a press statement that “the collaboration underscores Newport World Resorts' commitment to offering elevated dining experiences, further cementing its position as a leader in the industry.”

The restaurant, located on the second floor of the Newport Grand Wing, spans 400 square meters, making it one of the largest dining establishments within the 25-hectare resort.

The décor features a mix of traditional British elements with a modern twist, creating an inviting and stylish ambiance that reflects the restaurant's origins in the UK.

As for the menu, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill revealed that revealed that they will be introducing British cuisine to the local culinary scene with classic dishes like Fish & Chips made with battered Pacific grouper and crispy fries, and the Signature Beef Wellington, featuring beef tenderloin wrapped in mushroom and truffle duxelles, encased in flaky pastry, and served with creamed potatoes and red wine jus. The menu also highlights premium charcoal-grilled steaks and signature mains.
