The case stemmed when Pawin’s former girlfriend, Thanradee Chanchaninkul, AKA Kaellynnn, posted a series of photos and videos in February showing bruises all over her body on her Instagram Stories accusing the actor of physical abuse. He tagged Pawin ภวิน-ธนิก กมลธรานนท์) and his agency, GMMTV, in the posts.
In the photos and videos, Kaellynnn showed the numerous bruises all over her body she allegedly suffered from Pawin’s physical abuse.
To prove that they had a romantic relationship, Kaellynnn posted a video showing Pawin hugging her and biting her cheek. Kaellynnn said Pawin hit her in the head three to four times and he choked her.
GMMTV announced it was investigating Pawin and would take appropriate action if he was found to have committed the physical abuse.
As a result, GMMTV removed Pawin from the Thai BL (boys’ love) drama “We Are.”
Before this, GMMTV suspended “Pawin from all work and activities until the case is resolved.”
“Once the case is resolved and a clear conclusion is reached, the company will issue a statement accordingly,” it said.
In a press conference, Pawin admitted that he was in a relationship with Kaellynnn for a month and the incident started on Feb. 9 when he decided to end their relationship.

“She was going to jump off the balcony. I stopped her and agreed to continue dating,” he said, Thai media reported.
He denied physically assaulting Kaellynnn, saying most of the time he restrained her from hurting herself.
What he did, he said, was to protect himself and prevent her from harming herself.
“Well, we have no way of knowing if she would actually jump or not but I had to go in and stop it first. I don't want to see anyone die in front of me. In fact, I have helped her. I stopped her from committing suicide but she was holding a knife and scissors so I felt I had to protect myself from injury,” he said.
Pawin said he has evidence including an audio clip and video calls with friends to prove that he did not assault her.
