E-Gov Super App reaches over 900,000 downloads


The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) announced that the E-Governance (E-Gov) Super App has reached 964,775 total downloads as of December 2023.

In a social media post on Jan. 10, the country's ICT department emphasized that "964,775 Filipinos have embraced this technological leap, with 432,224 or about 44 percent of users generating their Digital National ID through the eGovPH app."

On June 2, 2023, the DICT proudly launched the eGovPH app, marking a milestone for public sector innovation and improved citizen engagement.

This initiative seamlessly integrates essential services into a single, accessible platform, streamlining government-related transactions and eliminating red tape for the benefit of the public.

Currently, the DICT has forged a Memorandum of Agreements (MOU) with 43 national government agencies and Local Government Units (LGUs) to promote interoperability in government ICT systems.

"These collaborations, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, lay the foundation for more widespread implementation of e-Governance initiatives and ensure a more efficient, responsive, and digitally connected government for the benefit of all Filipinos," DICT said.

Moreover, the other components of the e-Gov Super App, namely eVisa and eTravel, have garnered 20,132 individual registrants and 16,038,284 users, respectively.
