Savor Cebu’s finest flavors this coming Mother's Day weekend

This five-star hotel launches their ‘Culinarya: A Filipino Heritage Cuisine Series’ this Mother's Day weekend

Looking for a unique Mother's Day foodie destination that's just in the metro? This special limited-time-menu at the Marco Polo Ortigas Manila is perfect for this weekend's special celebration with mom.

Cebu, known as the Queen City of the South, is a well-known tourist destination brimming with culture and delicious dishes. Apart from the staple lechon, it is home to popular fare like dinuldog, a coconut milk-based squash dish, and balbacua, a flavorful collagen-rich meat stew cooked for several hours until tender.

Manila-based diners can get a taste of Cebu at Cucina, Marco Polo Ortigas' contemporary all-day dining restaurant, which is located at the 24th floor of the hotel.

From May 12 to 14, 2023, the chefs of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu will take over the kitchen and serve a menu of authentic Cebu-based appetizers like sinudlan (Cebuano sausage) and lansiao (soup number 5); main courses like inasal na manok bisaya (chicken inasal of Visayas) and bakasi sa Cordova (eel stew); and desserts like torta sa argao and binignit.
