Actor Robin Padilla continues to lead all 64 candidates on the third day of canvassing of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) sitting as National Board of Canvassers (NBOC).

In the latest national tally sheet released by the COMELEC on Thursday, May 12, the Partido Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) candidate has gained a total of 13,231,228 votes.
While, former Sen. Loren Legarda of the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) moved up the second spot after getting 12,290,805 votes.
Dropping down to third in the ranking was media personality and independent candidate Raffy Tulfo with 12,223,867 votes.
NPC candidates, reelectionist Sen. Win Gatchalian and former Sen. Chiz Escudero, moved up to fourth and fifth, respectively, in the rankings.
Gatchalian got 10,427,847 votes, while, Escudero has 10,403,405 votes.
Independent candidate and former House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano also improved his rankings as he snatched the sixth spot with 9,852,390 votes.
Gatchalian, Escudero, and Cayetano overtook former Public Works Sec. Mark Villar of the Nacionalista Party (NP) who dropped to the seventh spot with his 9,799,932 votes.
Independent candidate Sen. Migz Zubiri also improved his ranking and placed 8th in the ranking after gaining 9,610,489 votes.
On the other hand, independent candidate and reelectionist Sen. Joel Villanueva dropped a spot and placed 9th in the tally with his 9,488,272 votes.
Former Sen. JV Ejercito of the NPC continues to maintain the 10th position in the tally with his 8,005,848 votes.
While, his half brother, former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada of the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP), dropped to 12th place in the ranking with his 7,826,216 votes.
Meanwhile, reelectionist Sen. Risa Hontiveros finally breached through the top 12 rankings and placed 11th in the tally after gaining 7,86,216 votes.
Former Vice President Jojo Binay of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) was pushed out of the top 12 rankings into 13th place in the tally after getting 6,882,860 votes.
