Ayala Triangle Gardens' Festival of Lights always holds a special place in the hearts of people in the Metro. Indeed, it has been an annual tradition to await the light shows, not only for people in Makati but also for Filipinos across the islands.

Now on its 15th year, Ayala Land’s much-anticipated Festival of Lights 2023, with the theme “Christmas Nights with Countless Lights,” features more attractions set across more areas of Ayala Triangle Gardens.

A visual and auditory spectacle of lights and sounds

The festival features three main attractions, including the traditional light show "Kaleidoscope of Sight, Sound, and Light" directed by Ohm David. It utilizes advanced "mappable LED lights" and interactive floor projections, creating stunning illusions of light and color.

The first medley, "Paskong Pinoy," depicts the story of "Simbang Gabi" through vibrant lights and Filipino Christmas carols, arranged by Arvy Dimaculangan, including songs by Ryan Cayabyab.

The second medley, "Cosmic K-Pop Christmas," offers a trendy K-Pop concert experience at Ayala Triangle Gardens. With original music by Jazz Nicolas and Mikey Amistoso, enjoy singing and dancing to the latest K-Pop hits amid "dancing lights."

The third medley, "Big Band Holiday," channels the sophistication of an opulent era with Art Deco-inspired lights and projections, accompanied by iconic tunes from the golden age of music.

Apart from the main light show at the courtyard, holiday goers can discover curated installations in other parts of the gardens.

Brand new attractions: 'Wish Upon a Light' and 'Liter of Light'

"Wish Upon a Light" in the northern gardens allows guests to write wishes on an interactive screen, displayed on a green wall. The 2023 Festival of Lights features a collaboration with Arte House, Leeroy New, and Illac Diaz, presenting "Liter of Light," an installation showcasing "Elemento" by Leeroy New. 

This addition to the "Christmas Trail" highlights a story of bringing light to classrooms using recycled plastic bottles, water, and bleach. The solar-powered installation starts Dec. 2, 2023.

The Festival of Lights show plays every hour with the first run at 6 p.m. and last run at 10 p.m. Christmas Nights with Countless Lights at the Ayala Triangle Gardens lasts until Jan. 14, 2024.
