As expected, Paris Fashion Week brings out the best and most imaginative pieces designers could think of. Remember Bella Hadid wearing Coperni’s spray-on dress? Groundbreaking! Anrealage’s color-changing garbs? Iconic. For its spring-summer 2024 edition, brand’s and designers continue to push the boundaries of the art of dressing, one of which is Daniel Roseberry, artistic director of Paris-based fashion house Schiaparelli.
For the maison's spring-summer 2024 collection, the designer champions its surrealist style, merging the aesthetic of artist Salvador Dali and founder Elsa Schiaparelli. What went down the runway were a black mini dress with a gilded lobster, a handbag in the shape of a torso, and a bedazzled bustier with sea urchin, among others.
One of the stellar looks from the runway show was worn by Kendall Jenner. To close the show, the fashion model donned a red mini dress. While it is simple and classy, its beauty lies on the intricacy of the details. Upon closer look, the dress is made of hundreds of faux almond-shaped fingernails, with sequins adding sparkle to the look. Completing the look is a pair of nude pumps with trompe l’œil toes design.
With all the fashion festivities happening in the City of Love, Kendall wearing that red dress is truly one of the highlight of Paris Fashion Week.
