WATCH: Woman confuses tasteless buko juice as symptom of COVID-19

In a video posted on social media platform TikTok, content creator Pia Reyes made a special request to buko vendors not to sell watered down juices, as to avoid possible confusion with symptoms related to COVID-19.

Reyes ranted on her video saying, "Gusto ko lang mag-request sa lahat ng bilihan ng buko. Hindi po ito ang panahon para gawin niyong lasang tubig ang buko kasi nakakakaba kapag wala akong nalalasahan. Napabili pa ako ng turon, napakain pa ako ng turon para i-check kung may panlasa pa ako. (I'd like to request to all buko vendors. This is not the time to water down your buko juice products because it's so hard to determine if I've had lost my sense of taste. I had to buy turon just to check if I still have my sense of taste.)"

With an undertone of humor, the PSA post garnered much attention from viewers with 250K likes and almost 5K comments as of this writing.
