The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has sent a subpoena to veteran actress-talent manager Annabelle Rama.

As seen in the letter uploaded by ABS-CBN News reporter Niko Baua on Twitter, the wife of Eddie Gutierrez is being summoned by the Special Project Team, Office of the Assistant Director for Regional Operations Service, on Nov. 3 regarding the complaint of Joher Jayke Joson, who filed a cyber libel case against her.

Film producer and former actor Joson was the long-time special assistant of eight-division world champion and presidential aspirant Manny Pacquiao.

Currently, Joson is the first nominee of the Frontliners Party-list, who will vie for a seat at the House of Representatives in the 2022 elections.

According to Baua, the subpoena issued by NBI Special Projects Team to Rama was received through a village security guard.

During Joson's filing, he was assisted by his counsel Atty. Larry Gadon.

In there, the complainant printed out the alleged tweets of Rama and presented it to the NBI.

"Joson says Rama was being “epal” & “sipsp,” for calling him a thief, in his debacle with Sen. Manny Pacquiao," read Baua's tweet.

"The NBI Special Projects Team says they will remain impartial in the investigation. NBI Regional Director Atty. Emeterio Dongallo says they will issue a subpoena for Annabelle Rama and give her an opportunity to explain her side."

Last Oct. 22, Annabelle slammed the "dakilang alalay" of Pacquiao.

Her post read:
