Palace names 23 new prosecutors

Malacanang has approved the appointments of 23 prosecutors of the Department of Justice (DoJ).

Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said their appointment papers were released Friday by Malacanang.

Guevarra said the prosecutors have been assigned to various posts at the DoJ National Prosecution Service (NPS) nationwide.

Among them, three have been named as part of the Office of the Secretary of Justice Prosecution Staff (OSJPS).

They are Assistant State Prosecutors January Tria-Llarena,  Biennemar Rendora Regala, and Joan Carla Guevarra-Garcia.

The Justice Secretary said Malacanang also approved the appointment of Ma. Beverly Duque Ampo as Director 1 at the DoJ Parole and Probation Administration (PPA).

The other newly appointed prosecutors are:

1. Aquino, Frederick Dumbrique - Senior Assistant Provincial Prosecutor, Office of the Provicial Prosecutor (OPP) - Cagayan

2. Lirio-Marmol, Maria Victoria A. - Associate Provincial Prosecutor, OPP - Rizal

3. Cacacho, Milagros Figueras - Assistant Provincial Prosecutor, OPP - Nueva Vizcaya

4. Nicolas, Arvil Philipp Azurin - Assistant Provincial Prosecutor, OPP - Isabela - Prosecutor II

5. Cumitag, Gaius Palod - Associate Provincial Prosecutor, OPP - South Cotabato

6.Palpal-Latoc, Richard Paat - Assistant City Prosecutor, Office of the City Prosecutor (OCP) - Quezon City

7. Gomez, Giovanni Paul Iguban - Associate Provincial Prosecutor, OPP - Aklan

8. Concha, Kristoffer Francis Jacob Chavez - Assiciate Provincial Prosecutor, OPP - Sultan Kudarat

9. Yambao-Peralta, Carmela - Associate Provincial Prosecutor,  OPP - Aklan

10. Ledesma-Despi, Cheryl Marie - Assistant City Prosecutor, OCP - Silay City- Prosecutor II

11. Villegas, Lope Jerry Soqueña - Associate Provincial Prosecutor, OPP - South Cotabato

12. Paculares, Francis Rio Villalon - Assistant City Prosecutor, OCP - Guihulngan City

13. Lamanilao, Stephen Acuzar - Associate Provincial Prosecutor, OPP - Occidental Mindoro
