Doja Cat surges at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100

Doja Cat's "Paint The Town Red" surged past country music sensations Zach Bryan and Luke Combs, to claim the top spot of Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart.

This mid-tempo banger interpolates the classic hook from Dionne Warwick's "Walk On By."

It also showcases the lyrical finesse of the "Boss Bitch" rapper.

"Paint The Town Red" was released by Doja Cat last August. She recently followed it up with two more singles: "Demons" and the Pinoy delicacy name-checked "Balut."

Zach's "I Remember Everything" (featuring Kacey Musgraves) has slipped to No. 2, while Luke's rendition of "Fast Car" has dropped to No. 3.

Morgan Wallen's former chart-topper, "Last Night," has descended to No. 5, marking a noticeable shift in this week's singles chart dynamics with a trio of country music acts losing ground.

Meanwhile, both familiar and emerging pop stars are making strides in the singles Top 10: Taylor Swift's "Cruel Summer" holds steady at No. 4, while Dua Lipa's "Dance The Night" climbs to No. 6.

Gunna's "Fukumean" secures the No. 8 spot, Olivia Rodrigo's "Vampire" grabs No. 9, and Rema x Selena Gomez's "Calm Down" rounds off the Top 10.

SZA remains firmly in place at No. 7 with "Snooze."
