Wellness has evolved far beyond gym memberships and occasional spa visits.
Today, it encompasses movement, mindfulness, nutrition, recovery, community, and even the products people choose to bring into their daily lives. Increasingly, hotels are becoming part of that conversation, creating experiences that encourage guests to slow down, reconnect, and focus on their overall well-being.
This June, The Westin Manila is embracing that philosophy with a three-day celebration in observance of Global Wellness Day, transforming the hotel into a hub for wellness-focused activities, experiences, and community gatherings.
Scheduled from June 12 to 14, the initiative, dubbed Reset at Westin, aims to help guests find balance through purposeful experiences designed to support the mind, body, and spirit. Rather than focusing on a single aspect of wellness, the program takes a holistic approach, bringing together fitness, mindfulness, nutrition, recovery, and sustainable living under one roof.
The centerpiece of the weekend is a lineup of expert-led sessions designed to help participants reset and recharge.

Among the highlights are floating sound baths led by Kar in Motion on June 13. Combining water, sound, and meditation, the sessions are designed to encourage deep relaxation and mindfulness. Participants can choose between two evening schedules, allowing them to experience a different form of wellness that focuses on stillness and recovery.
The hotel has also partnered with SAMA Well-being for a three-day urban wellness retreat featuring yoga, Pilates, breathwork, meditation, recovery experiences, sound healing, ecstatic dance, and community gatherings. Guests may participate through day passes or opt for the full three-day experience. Those who complete the retreat also get the opportunity to win a Heavenly Spa Signature Massage for two.
While movement and mindfulness form a significant part of the weekend, wellness extends beyond scheduled classes.
One of the event's most anticipated components is the return of The Westin Manila's Wellness Market, which will run throughout the three-day celebration. Now on its fourth edition, the market brings together local brands focused on health-conscious living, sustainable products, and mindful consumption. The community pop-up will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is free. Shoppers who spend a minimum of P500 from participating brands will also have the chance to win an overnight stay in one of the hotel's Deluxe Rooms.
The market reflects a growing interest among consumers who are looking for healthier alternatives and more sustainable lifestyle choices.
Visitors can sample vegan snacks and desserts from Earth Desserts, known for offerings such as banana pudding, cookies, brownies, and tablea crisps. Those interested in plant-based cooking can explore products from Habits by Mia Sison, which offers pantry staples developed by the integrative nutrition coach and certified raw vegan chef.
Health-conscious guests can also discover low-carb and keto-friendly treats from Keto Filipino Bakeshop, while kombucha enthusiasts can explore probiotic beverages from Brye & Brew Kombucha, a local functional beverage company specializing in naturally fermented drinks.

Matcha lovers are likely to find their way to Matcha Bar, which offers premium matcha products and kits made using traditional cultivation and milling methods. Meanwhile, Uncle Bob's PH will showcase wellness-focused products ranging from sea moss blends to smoothies and wellness potions.
Fitness also plays a role in this year's lineup. Wandergym will present its range of eco-friendly workout equipment, activewear, and wellness accessories, while Croft Bulk Foods will offer earth-friendly and zero-waste goods aimed at supporting more sustainable lifestyles.
For guests seeking a weekend dedicated to renewal, The Westin Manila's Global Wellness Day celebration offers an opportunity to explore wellness in its many forms, whether through movement, mindfulness, nutrition, recovery, or simply discovering new habits that support a healthier way of living.
