Your Starbucks order just got a 'Devil Wears Prada' twist
New character-inspired drinks bring familiar flavors with a cinematic nod
Some drinks come with instructions. Others come with personality.
Starbucks is coming out with a new limited-time beverage lineup inspired by "The Devil Wears Prada 2," bringing four character-based drinks to stores in the Philippines starting April 29.
The collection takes cues from the film’s main characters, translating them into familiar orders with slight tweaks.
There is the Miranda Caffè Latte, built the way you would expect, no foam, extra shot, extra hot. The Andy Oatmilk Cappuccino softens things slightly, adding caramel and cinnamon into a more balanced cup.
Nigel’s take comes as an espresso con panna with mocha, direct and layered, while the Emily Iced Chai Latte leans into almond milk and caramel, a sweeter, more approachable option.
The drinks are not entirely new creations, but customizations of existing menu items, shaped around the personalities they represent.
“Starbucks has been part of The Devil Wears Prada universe since the original film,” said Erin Silvoy, senior vice president of global marketing at Starbucks. “We’re excited to bring that connection to life again, giving fans a way to step into the moment - starting with their daily coffee.”
The collaboration is part of a wider global campaign tied to the film’s release, which also features Starbucks within the movie itself. In New York, select locations are offering themed tie-ins, including limited-edition copies of Runway Magazine, the fictional publication central to the story.
“It’s all good energy with Starbucks and our new movie, ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2,’” said Lylle Breier, EVP for partnerships, promotions, synergy, and events at Disney. “We are thrilled to be collaborating in such a big way with Starbucks on a bold, clever, and thematic global program designed to delight fans around the world.”
In the Philippines, the drinks will be available until June 1 in participating stores.
