Ambet Nabus is no longer part of our online show, Marites University. (exit frame na ang lola mo!) Jun Nardo, Rose Garcia, and I recently welcomed seasoned showbiz reporter Allan Diones as the newest member of the team. (Ms Allan Jones!)

In one of our episodes, Allan mentioned that he messaged GMA 7 boss Atty. Annette Gozon Valdes to request his report to be aired. (o diba ka chat levels!) I asked Allan about other details about his story and teased him: "Tawagan mo! Tawagan mo si Ms Annette!" (sabay abot ng mobile phone ko!) Of course, it was a joke.
I didn't know that Allan took it as a challenge. (competitive ang hitad!) He invited Ms. Annette to a live phone patch for the next episode! (so close sila?!)
Apparently, Ms. Annette was watching when I dared Allan to call her. (sana raw tinawagan talaga sya on the spot! palaban si ma'am!)

One of the issues she clarified on the show was about Shuvee Etrata. Some netizens feel Shuvee is her favorite GMA7 talent because she defended the young star from bashers. (taray ng tagapagtanggol ni ate!)
"Love ko naman talaga si-ya, kahit noong nag-start pa lang siya sa amin. Napakabait na tao at napaka humble. Hindi naman sa favorite. Lahat naman sila sa Sparkle parang anak ko. Lahat ’yan love ko. Nirerespect ko naman ang mga opinyon ng tao, pero during that time, kinorek ko lang: may lumabas na article na pro siya sa pagpapasara ng ABS-CBN, but no, super against siya. Kinorek ko lang," Ms Annette explains (gusto ko na rin po magSparkle!)
But she admits that she is a fan of the CapHeath (Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales) loveteam (at ako parang may heat!)
"Ang cute nilang dalawa. Tuwang-tuwa ako sa kanila. Very wholesome. Very innocent. Kaya kinikilig ako sa kanila," Ms. Annette says.(asan baby Heath ko?!)
She denied reports that Ellen Adarna will stage a showbiz comeback on a Kapuso show. Her recent socmed post with Ellen was just a "catch-up" dinner. (sya pala nakadiscover noon kay Ellen para mag artista! ay pwede nyo po ako idiscover?!)
"Close ako kay Ellen. She's my friend. Hindi lang artist namin, kaibigan ko talaga ’yan. Catch Up lang yun. Feeling ko pwede mag-guest pero yung full time, hindi na," Ms. Annette shares. (ay gusto ko kayo maging friends!)
For those asking how Ellen is after her failed relationship with Derek Ramsey, Ms. Annette has this to say. (si Ms. Annette talaga ang tinanong ko about it ha!) "She's very strong. Palaban na yan nung nakilala ko. She's even stronger now." (ang babaeng may laban?!)
