CEBU CITY – Two men died in a collision between their motorcycles in Barangay Tejero here on Friday morning, June 6.
A SCREENSHOT from a surveillance footage that captured a collision between two motorcycles in Barangay Tejero, Cebu City on Friday morning, June 6.
Police identified the victims as Bugsy Nadal Quilestino, 18, and Alvin Gargar Dilao, 35.
The incident at 8:30 a.m. was captured by a closed-circuit television footage.
A private car was turning left when Dilao, who was driving a Suzuki Raider, surfaced from behind and also tried to make a left turn.
Quilestino, who was driving a Kawasaki Fury, was driving at high speed and did not see Dilao turning left, resulting in a collision.
The impact threw the victims off their motorcycles and landed hard on the concrete pavement.
Dilao was taken to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center and was later moved to the Cebu Doctors’ Hospital where he was declared dead.
Quilestino was declared dead at the Cebu City Medical Center.
