The Taguig City government said residents will benefit from a P10 million fund allocated for Ospital ng Makati (Osmak) through the efforts of sibling Senators Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano.
The funding for Osmak is under the Medical Assistance for Indigent Patients (MAIP) Program of the Department of Health (DOH) “intended for the medical assistance to indigent and financially incapacitated patients.”

The city government said the funding is in partnership with the Department of Health - Metro Manila Center for Health Development (DOH-MMCHD) with the aim of providing free medical assistance to Taguig residents who are eligible patients in Osmak. It will cover medications, procedures, confinement, and other patient care needs.
It said the memorandum of agreement was received by Osmak in April last year but “was only officially signed on February 3, 2025. Despite this delay, the City of Taguig remains committed to ensuring that medical assistance reaches those in need without any further setbacks.”
Under the program, the city government will assess and endorse eligible patients who will benefit from medical assistance.
