Lucas said 24, 710 personnel will be deployed, composed of 8,151 policemen and 16,559 force multipliers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), other government agencies, and Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATs).

The PRO 4-A anticipates an influx of travelers and increased public activities during the Lenten season, Philippine Veterans’ Week, Araw ng Kagitingan, Labor Day, National Flag Day, Flores de Mayo, and various community fiestas, Lucas said.

“To ensure peace and order, PRO 4-A has identified 1,031 critical areas that require heightened security measures. These include 213 places of worship, where large gatherings are expected; 249 major thoroughfares, where traffic marshals and route security will be deployed to manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians; 87 transportation hubs and terminals, which serve as key transit points for travelers; 206 commercial areas, including malls, markets, tiangge, and business centers that attract heavy foot traffic; and 276 major tourist destinations, such as beaches, resorts, parks, and other public spaces that draw large crowd," Lucas said.

"With these strategic deployments, PRO 4-A aims to ensure the safety and security of both residents and visitors throughout the summer season."

Lucas assured the public that all police stations and units will be on full alert and reminded people to be vigilant and cooperate with authorities.

He urged people to report suspicious persons or activities to the nearest police station, through help desks, or their dedicated hotline numbers, 09155108286 or 09985985583.
