Wine appreciation gets a different setting at Wine at 38, a tasting experience held on the 38th floor of Solaire Resort Quezon City, where guests can explore a selection of reds, whites, and sparkling wines while taking in views of the Metro Manila skyline.
The experience transforms the Level 38 foyer into a wine-tasting venue on select Friday evenings, combining a cocktail-style setting with guided tastings and a grazing spread of cheeses, cold cuts and canapés.
The tastings are led by veteran sommelier and Solaire Resort Quezon City senior manager for resort beverages Torky Barcena, who guides guests through the featured wines. The format is designed for both wine enthusiasts and casual drinkers, with the accompanying food selected to complement the pours.

Wine at 38 is presented in partnership with premium wine distributors Philippine Wine Merchants, A Wine Company, and Happy Living. The series features themed tasting journeys highlighting different wine countries and producers, with the program covering regions from California to Bordeaux and Tuscany.
The location also makes it an easy starting point for a Friday night. Set between Finestra and Skybar, guests can continue with an Italian dinner at Finestra or head to Skybar for an after-party.
For those planning to attend, Wine at 38 is scheduled for select Friday evenings through the end of the year. The remaining dates are Aug. 21; Sept. 4 and 18; Oct. 2 and 23; Nov. 6 and 20; and Dec. 11. Seats are limited.
The experience runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Solaire Rewards members pay P738++, while nonmembers pay P938++, with both rates covering the free-flowing wines and unlimited access to the grazing spread.
For a Friday evening that begins with a glass of wine, a plate of paired bites and the city spread out below, Wine at 38 offers a relaxed way to ease into the weekend.
