Lexus Philippines unveils its eighth-generation executive sedan, drawing customers, partners and VIP guests
It was an evening of luxury, polished company, good fun, and plenty of interest in what Lexus has been preparing for its executive-sedan lineup. On Aug. 6 at the Lexus Manila Gallery, Lexus Philippines welcomed customers, partners, and guests for the Philippine unveiling of the all-new Lexus ES, the eighth generation of one of the brand's most iconic models.

While the gathering provided the usual society-page setting of well-dressed guests and familiar faces from the Lexus community, the evening's main attraction was unmistakable: the new ES, now offered in three variants and, for the first time in the Philippines, with a fully battery-electric option.
The lineup consists of the ES 350h Executive, ES 350h Luxury and ES 350e Battery Electric Vehicle. The redesigned model features a more spacious cabin, Lexus Safety System+ 4, and a standard 14-inch touchscreen display.
Lexus Philippines chairman Alfred V. Ty underscored the significance of giving local customers a choice between hybrid and fully electric mobility.
“The All-New Lexus ES embodies our multi-pathway approach toward carbon neutrality by giving customers the freedom to choose the electrified vehicle that best suits their lifestyle—whether Hybrid Electric or, for the first time in the Philippines, a fully Battery Electric Vehicle,” he said.
The evening also featured remarks from Lexus Philippines president Masando Hashimoto and Lexus Manila Inc. president Carlo Ablaza, while guests were given an opportunity to see the new ES up close and experience it through media test drives.
The arrival of the new ES also comes as Lexus Philippines reports that 93 percent of its sales during the first half of 2026 came from electrified vehicles, underscoring the growing presence of hybrid and electric models in its local lineup.
For the guests, however, the evening was ultimately about seeing the new ES make its local debut among the Lexus community. And with its new design, technology and expanded electrified lineup, the executive sedan had plenty to command attention.
