41 celebrities recently took center stage for a show at the Edsa Shangrila Hotel recently. (Pang 42 dapat ako! Chos!)
It was in celebration of the 5th anniversary of Maddox Jewelry by celebrity alahera Charo Cordial. (Waiting ako sa pa-alahas ni madame!)
The event highlighted four thematic runway segments—Icons of Forms and Radiance, Icons of Brilliance and Elegance, Icons of Timelessness, and Icons of Legacy, all directed by Robbie Carmona. (Gusto ko maging icon!)
Featured celebrities include Claudine Barretto, Ara Mina, Pokwang, Beauty Gonzalez, Katrina Halili, Diana Zubiri, Geneva Cruz, Kris Bernal, AJ Raval, Aljur Abrenica, Diego Loyzaga, Jeric Raval, Roderick Paulate, Carmi Martin, Amy Austria, Jackielou Blanco, Yayo Aguila, Gardo Versoza, Epy Quizon, James Blanco, Nadine Samonte, Regine Tolentino, Maureen Larrazabal, Aubrey Miles, Troy Montero, and several models. In her speech, Charo shared her humble beginnings as a daughter of a farmer in Bicol who strived hard to finish school and become an engineer. (Ako naging sexy star!)
She also mentioned how her destiny changed when she ventured into live selling of jewelry during the pandemic and eventually became friends with celebrities who love luxury pieces. (Dapat i-friend ko sila! At mag-celebrate din with diamonds!)
