Malacañang described the recent visit of Kris Aquino and her sons, Josh and Bimby, to First Lady Liza Areneta-Marcos as a sign of good ties between their families.
Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said that although the First Lady has not yet shared anything about the visit, it already suggests that "they have a good relationship."
"Actually, I tried to ask the First Lady about that. I tried to ask the First Lady about that. She hasn’t shared anything with me yet. But we saw what the visit of Ms. Kris Aquino and her children seems to indicate. It suggests that they have a good relationship)," Castro said in a Palace briefing on Tuesday, Aug.11.
As for what they discussed, nothing has been shared yet; they were definitely happy with the visit, Castro added.
As for what they discussed, nothing has been shared with me. And if there is something, perhaps I’m not yet allowed to disclose it)," the Palace spokesperson said.
But definitely, they’re happy. If the First Lady shares with us the good things they talked about, I’ll definitely share them with you)," she added.
The First Lady shared about the Aquinos' visit in a Facebook post on Sunday, Aug. 9.
They brought several cakes for the First Lady ahead of her Aug. 21 birthday. She thanked them for the surprise, saying it was "such a thoughtful surprise that truly warmed my heart."
