Mannix Carancho started as an entrepreneur in soaps and cosmetics (Kita naman sa kutis niya!). He even tapped actors Arron Villaflor and Iya Mina to endorse his products (Siya ang nagpakilala sa'kin kay Papa Arron!) He eventually earned the title "Lord of Soaps" (Lord, patawad!).

"Ever since naman talaga, yung pagtitimpla ng cosmetics, pampaganda at sabon, ikinasisiya ko na. Gusto ko talaga siyang gawin. Nakakatuwa lang kasi ngayon, kaya na naming mag-produce ng daan-daang libong sabon sa isang araw dahil sa capacity ng planta ko at ng staff ko. Kaya taas-noo ako na isa akong local manufacturer na kayang gawin 'yan," Mannix shares. (Makapag-chin up nga rin!)

His love for the entertainment industry inspired him to put up his own talent agency, Mannix Management, which now handles 72 talents. (Konti na lang, 101 na 'yan!)

"Maging humble lang kayo kasi lahat ng 'yan, temporary lang. Huwag na huwag lalaking ang inyong ulo. Kay Fyang (Smith), lagi kong sinasabi na huwag lumaki ang ulo. Pinahiram lang sa atin lahat ng 'yan. Pina-experience lang sa atin 'yan. Napakaswerte na natin kung mapahaba natin nang maraming taon," Mannix says. (Hanggang next reincarnation daw, puwede!)

Fyang is his most popular talent. Recently, he came to the actress' defense amid online bashing. (Pinupulutan ng bashers? Kulang na lang beer?!)

"Siyempre dati, ang dream ko magkaroon ng isang Fyang at maging sikat talaga si Fyang. Pero ang gusto ko naman ngayon, sumunod sa yapak niya yung mga bago kong talents. Lahat naman ng manager, 'yun ang gusto nila para sa mga alaga nila." (Masundan nga 'yang si Fyang sa paglalakad!)

Mannix believes in a formula that makes a talent shine.

"Kailangan lang natin maging consistent, may use man 'yan o wala. Tuloy-tuloy lang, at importante, i-enjoy mo yung ginagawa mo. Kapag ineenjoy mo kasi ang ginagawa mo, magsusunuran na 'yan—yung fame mo, yung success mo, yung mga gusto mong makamit sa buhay mo. Susunod na lahat 'yan basta consistent ka at gusto mo yung ginagawa mo." (Consistent ako sa pag-a-attitude ko!)

To become a more effective manager, he also decided to create his own content on social media. (Hindi siya papahuli, mga ateng!)

"Mas maganda na alam ko yung pakiramdam bilang influencer para alam ko kung paano ko iha-handle ang mga alaga ko. Paano ka magha-handle kung ikaw mismo, hindi mo alam kung ano ang dapat at hindi dapat gawin ng influencers natin?" (Gawin ko kayang alaga yung mga boys sa show ko?!)
