Palace orders thorough probe on deadly school shooting incident in Tacloban
Marcos expresses grief, directs authorities to ensure safety in schools

Malacañang ordered a thorough investigation into the school shooting incident in Tacloban City on Monday, June 22, which killed three students.
In a statement, the Palace said President Marcos wants a deeper investigation into the incident and instructed authorities to ensure the protection and safety of establishments, especially schools.
"Iniuutos ang malalimang pag-iimbestiga rito at pinapasiguro ng proteksyon at kaligtasan sa lahat ng lugar, opisina, establisyimento lalong lalo na sa mga paaralan.
The President expressed grief over the incident and extended his sympathy to the families of the victims.
"Kinakalungkot ng Pangulo ang pangyayari. Kahit sino pa man lalo na ang mga magulang ng mga nabiktima ay makakaramdam ang lungkot at takot (The President is saddened by the incident. Anyone, especially the parents of the victims, would feel grief and fear)," Malacañang said.
At least three students were confirmed dead in a shooting incident at San Jose National High School at around 9 a.m. Monday.
Five students were wounded.
