Father’s Day is just around the corner, and The Manila Hotel is marking the occasion with a monthlong selection of dining experiences and indulgent treats designed for family gatherings and meaningful celebrations.
Leading the festivities is Café Ilang-Ilang, which will offer its popular international buffet on June 21. Lunch is priced at P3,888 nett per person, while dinner is available for P4,988 nett. Diners will also receive a complimentary glass of draft beer or Shirley Temple, paired with either a brownie or a Willy the Bear keychain.
Those looking for a more intimate affair can head to the Champagne Room, where a special Father’s Day set menu will be available for lunch and dinner from June 19 to 21. Priced at P6,888 nett per person, the experience begins with a choice of tartare of fresh Norwegian salmon or Parmesan panna cotta with Parma ham, followed by either beef oxtail consommé or three onion soup. Guests can then choose between pan-fried garlic prawns and spinach ricotta ravioli before a blackberry sorbet palate cleanser. Main course options include roast US beef tenderloin or oven-roasted miso-marinated gindara fillet. Dessert comes in the form of caramel hazelnut praline torte or a selection of French artisan cheeses, accompanied by macarons and coffee or tea. A glass of sparkling wine and a Manila Hotel tumbler complete the experience.
For families who prefer sharing dishes, Red Jade is serving a special à la carte menu throughout June. Highlights include golden egg prawns with butter oatmeal, honey-glazed fish fillet with Zhenjiang sauce, shredded chicken with lemon sauce and seafood fried rice with seaweed, alongside a selection of classic Chinese dishes prepared with contemporary touches. The limited-time menu is available for lunch and dinner.
Meanwhile, those celebrating at home can stop by the Delicatessen for the Tropical Harmony Cake, which comes with an insulated bag and is available at a special price of P2,240 from June 8 to 21.
“At The Manila Hotel, we recognize the enduring presence of fathers in every family. These offerings are our way of expressing gratitude and creating meaningful moments that families can share and remember,” said Marvin Kim Tan, vice president for sales and marketing.
True to its reputation for Filipino hospitality, the Grand Dame continues to turn special occasions into memorable family moments—this time, with Dad taking center stage.
