Filipino power solutions giant Omni Electrical & Lighting is taking its premier product lineup straight to the streets. Celebrating its landmark 30th anniversary, the homegrown brand has officially unveiled the OmniBus — a cutting-edge, mobile experiential showroom designed to transform how consumers and industry partners interact with modern electrical and lighting technology.
The grand rollout kicked off with a major activation at Central Park, MOA by the Bay. The initiative marks a massive evolutionary leap from the company’s previous “Omni On The Road” campaign. While the original campaign successfully strengthened relationships with regional hardware stores, distributors, and trade partners over the past 7 years — visiting more than 100 destinations across the country — the OmniBus introduces a significantly more immersive, scalable, and tactile environment.
A Collection of Innovation on Wheels
The name “OmniBus” is derived directly from the classic definition of “omnibus,” meaning a comprehensive collection. True to its name, this massive vehicle serves as a roving collection of Omni’s extensive portfolio, which has grown to encompass over 1,000 product SKUs. Exclusively manufactured by Yatai International Corporation since 1996, Omni’s catalog spans three major sub-categories: lighting, electrical, and appliances.
Unlike traditional static product catalogs, the OmniBus is an engineered, mobile experience that brings products directly to the public through multiple interactive features. First, it incorporates dynamic product displays where visitors can touch, inspect, and evaluate the latest smart lighting fixtures, consumer devices, and commercial power equipment firsthand.
To provide deeper functional insight, the roving showroom also features actual working installations. This layout allows contractors, engineers, and tech enthusiasts to see how the energy-efficient systems perform under live, operational conditions.
Furthermore, the space is equipped with a dedicated mobile conference and meeting area. This integrated business environment allows Omni representatives to conduct business-to-business (B2B) meetings, consult on large-scale architectural projects, and network with regional developers right on-site.
Engineering a Sustainable Tomorrow
As technology shifts toward green energy, Omni’s entire product development line has adapted to emphasize sustainability. Boasting more than 70 product certifications, every piece of hardware on display inside the OmniBus is engineered with a focus on durability, premium performance, and low power consumption.
The roving showroom is designed to appeal to a broad, tech-savvy demographic. This includes DIY builders, interior designers, and work-from-home (WFH) professionals looking to optimize their spaces with robust power setups. It also caters heavily to tech-oriented travelers and adventurers seeking rugged, reliable gear for life on the move.
Backed by 9 branches nationwide, 12 authorized distributors, and an expansive network of over 7,000 retail partners, Omni continues to solidify its footprint as a trusted leader in local infrastructure. By putting their technology on wheels, the brand is proving that the future of tech retail isn’t just digital — it’s experiential, accessible, and constantly moving.
