Seventeen remains have been recovered from the collapsed building in Angeles City.
Authorities found four more bodies from late Monday night to early Tuesday morning – 14th at 11:20 p.m. on Monday and the 15th at 1:56 a.m., 16th at 2:07 a.m., and 17th at 4:08 a.m., Tuesday.
Also recovered from the rubble was the body of a dog.
The building collapsed on May 24 following a heavy downpour.
Twenty-seven persons were rescued in a multi-agency effort.
Two separate investigations are being conducted by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on the building.
Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino said one focuses on possible violations committed by the construction company, Golden Years Construction, and the other probes why a work stoppage order previously issued by DOLE-Region 3 was lifted.
Lawyers of the owner and contractor of the building said they are willing to help the victims and seeking an independent investigation of the incident.
Search operations continue for the three remaining missing individuals.
