Senator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa (Mark Balmores)
Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa is still in the Philippines amid rumors that he already left the Senate and was seen at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Bureau of Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval said that there is no record at this point that dela Rosa boarded any plane heading out of the country.
“No recent record of travel po,” said Sandoval when asked if dela Rosa already left the country.
However, the spokesperson admitted that she “cannot answer for domestic travel.”
There are rumors circulating on social media that Dela Rosa was accompanied by Sen. Robin Padilla when he left the Senate and they were allegedly seen at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) has named Dela Rosa co-perpetrator of former President Rodrigo Duterte in the crimes against humanity case in connection with the drug war during the administration of the former chief executive.
