- Sarah Geronimo congratulates BINI after the group's Billboard Women in Music 2026 Global Force Award win, calling them a symbol of courage and hope for Filipino music.
Sarah Geronimo delivered an inspiring message to BINI following the group’s historic win at the 2026 Billboard Women in Music, praising them for carrying the “courage and hope” of Filipino music onto the global stage.
In a statement reported by Billboard Philippines, the Popstar Royalty reflected on receiving the same Global Force Award last year and said seeing BINI inherit that recognition made the honor even more meaningful.
Geronimo said the award symbolizes more than individual achievement, describing it as a reflection of the resilience and ambition of Filipino artists seeking to make their mark internationally.
“Receiving the Billboard Women in Music Global Force Award is such a meaningful achievement. I once said this award represents courage and hope — courage to break barriers, and hope that Filipino music can reach and inspire the world. Seeing you now carry that message makes us all proud and even more inspired,” she said.
The singer also commended the group for championing Filipino artistry on an international platform, emphasizing how their continued success is helping amplify Original Pilipino Music worldwide.
According to Geronimo, BINI’s dedication and passion reflect the strength of Filipino talent and serve as proof that local artists can command global attention.
She capped off her message with words of encouragement, urging the group to keep pushing creative boundaries.
“Thank you for proudly representing our country. Keep shining, and never be afraid to break boundaries and be whoever you want to be as artists. Congratulations again, BINI!”
BINI received the Global Force Award during the ceremony held at the Hollywood Palladium on April 29 (U.S. time).
The award marks another landmark achievement for BINI, coming shortly after they made history as the first all-Filipino act to perform at Coachella.
