Battling cancer is never easy. That’s why it is disheartening to see anyone face it, especially when it involves children. But with proper help and support, there is always hope.

During the Can Beat It 2026 graduation ceremony at The Manila Prince Hotel, the I Want to Share Foundation (IWTS) celebrated 120 individuals who are now free from cancer. This victory was made possible through the leadership of its president and founder, Sheila Bermudez Romero, along with the dedication and hard work of the IWTS members and Board of Directors, in partnership with the Philippine General Hospital.
Philanthropist Pinky Tobiano took the stage to share her inspiring story. In 2004, she battled thyroid cancer, and her journey as a survivor led her to pursue various humanitarian efforts. Also joining the celebration were singer Erik Santos and basketball legend L.A. Tenorio.
“Moments like this remind us that hope, faith, and compassion can truly change lives,” the foundation said in a social media post. “A beautiful reminder of courage, hope, and new beginnings. Seeing these children smile again after everything they have been through is something that will always stay in our hearts.”
