Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro (Betheena Unite)
Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro has urged detractors, including bashers, to "permanently stop" politicizing things.
In time for the Holy Week, Castro also called on bashers to stop spreading negativity.
When someone is a basher, they cannot provide a proper answer or a sensible opinion. For our part, at this time, we should avoid politicizing things)," Castro said when asked to give a message to President Marcos' detractors and her bashers as well.
The Palace official further told them that "if the have nothing good to say, they should just stop."
If they have nothing good to say and are only spreading negativity, then they should stop for now—or stop permanently—and instead cooperate with the administration for the progress of our country and for the upliftment of every Filipino)," she said.
Castro pointed out that bashers, nowadays, are driven by personal interests to tear down and destroy the government.
"Hindi po iyan napapanahon sa mga kasalukuyang nangyayari sa ating bansa (That is not appropriate now given what is currently happening in our country)," she told them.
When asked if she would pray for them in this time of reflection, she said she would pray for all sinners.
All sinners in the world should be prayed for)," Castro said.
