WTFu by MR.FU: The sexy actor's role in senakulo

Apollo Mitero was in high school when he became interested in writing fiction. (mga kwentong barbero?!) Some of his pieces were even used as materials for school plays. Theatre productions would also get him to act on stage. (ay may pag-arte ang koya mo!)

“Bata pa lang talaga ako, malikot na ang isip ko. Gusto kong isulat yung mga naiisip kong kuwento. Nagsimula ako sa may pagka-historical. Kaya naipapalabas siya sa mga play sa schools," Apollo shares (pang DepED ang atake mo bro!)

In college, he decided to take up computer science (uso raw kasi that time?!), but he never abandoned theater writing and acting. “Gumanap ako ng iba't ibang roles sa teatro. Mga karakter na puwedeng panoorin ng mga bata at mga estudyante. Ganun ang naging linya ko.” (dinaig si Kuya Bodjie ng Batibot ha!)

His life suddenly changed when his friend encouraged him to try working as an Escort. (ay biglaan ang career shift ha!)

“May nag-invite sa akin na sumali sa isang escort service agency. Nag-training kami ng ilang months for self-defense kasi, siyempre, minsan para kaming mga bodyguard minsan sa client. Tinuruan din kami na huwag mandiri sa clients. May training din para dun," Apollo says. (wag mandiri sa clients?! bakit may amoy?! Nakakaloka!)

He did this for three years and went back to writing. This time, his works were no longer school-friendly. He concentrated on daring themes. Some of his materials are now being lined up for the adult streaming app, TbonX.  He has also appeared as an actor in several sexy series. (ay so di na wholesome ang image?!)

“Naging pa-sexy na yung roles. Nagpapakita na rin ng ilang bahagi ng katawan. Wala namang malice ’yon, kasi trabaho ’yon. Kasi art yun," Apollo explains. (ay di na-enumerate kung anu-anong bahagi!)

In his recent guest appearance on our YouTube channel, WTFu, the 32-year-old bachelor mentioned that he committed his time to an organization for this Holy Week. He will play Pontius Pilate for a special senakulo presentation. “First time ko ito. Gusto ko siyang subukan. Kahit walang bayad. Iniisip ko na siyang maging panata tulad ng ginagawa ng iba." Iba rin talaga ang mga shifting ni Kuya. Ang bilis ng pacing!
