Vida urges families of DOJ officials, personnel to help conserve energy, fuel

Acting Justice Secretary Fredderick A. Vida urged family members of Department of Justice (DOJ) officials and personnel to join efforts in conserving energy and fuel amid the Middle East conflict.
“Bring this spirit of stewardship to your families. In times of crisis, no action is too small to spark big change,” Vida said.
He pointed out the need for a whole-of-department approach in helping achieve President Marcos’ directive for a government-wide energy efficiency.
"Together, as one DOJ family, we conquer every challenge. Lagi-lagi, para sa ating mga pamilya at bayan (Always for our family and our nation)," he stressed.
Last week, Vida started implementing a four-day work week in response to the President’s call for energy conservation with DOJ personnel reporting onsite from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday.
DOJ’s frontline services remain fully operational from Monday to Friday.
