VP Sara's defense team to review House actions on impeachment case

The defense team of Vice President Sara Duterte said Wednesday, March 4, it will review the actions taken by the House of Representatives and the House Justice Committee that found the impeachment case against her “sufficient in substance.”
Lawyer Michael Poa, one of Duterte’s counsels, made the pronouncement, adding they will also review records of the proceedings.
“We have been informed of the vote of the House of Representatives finding the 3rd and 4th impeachment complaints sufficient in form and substance,” Poa said.
“For now, we will refrain from discussing the substance of the case in the media and will instead address these matters through the proper constitutional processes,” he added.
