A 20-year-old architecture student from Tubao, La Union was crowned Mutia ti La Union 2026, which was part of the 176th founding anniversary of the province, during the coronation night in San Fernando City, La Union on Monday, March 2.
Savannah Panganiban, student of Saint Louis University in Baguio City, who was Mutia ti Tubao in 2024, is also a model and social media influencer and known for her advocacy for transformative education, cultural pride, and youth empowerment. Panganiban also won the Best Designer’s Choice special award.
Reign Gaile Nejal, 22, of Santo Tomas, La Union, a candidate of the Miss Universe Philippines 2026, was crowned as Mutia ti Turismo 2026 and received the special awards Miss Photogenic and Best in Evening Gown.
Samantha Kyle Pagar of San Fernando City was crowned Mutia ti Agrikultura 2026 and bagged the special award Mutia Beautiful Skin; Mutia ti Kalikasan 2026 was Nicole Antonette Tilap, 22, of Sudipen who was Best in Swimsuit; and Mutia ti Kayangan 2026 was Xianna Laussaneugan Trinidad, of Agoo.
Other candidates who won special awards were Charisse Pauline Calderon, Mutia Body Beautiful, of Bauang; Mutia Vibrant Smile May Ann Samson of Rosario; Mutia Beautiful Hair Reign Gale G. Nejal of Santo Tomas; Miss Congeniality Nathalie Gayle V. Ubaldo of Aringay, and Miss Punctual Sofia Zoe V. Delfin of Bacnotan.
Gov. Mario Ortega congratulated the 20 candidates for showing strong unity that made the pageant successful.
