SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – This province is holding the Grand Electric Float Parade on Friday, Feb. 27, as part of its 176th founding anniversary celebration.
Around 20 beautifully decorated floats from local government units will roll through the streets, showcasing the color, culture, and creativity of La Union.
Each float symbolizes the products, livelihoods, heritage, and identity of participating towns.
Onboard the floats will be candidates of Mutia ti La Union 2026 dressed in their festival costumes.
The parade starting at 6 p.m. will start in front of Robinsons Place La Union, pass through the San Fernando City Plaza, and culminate at the La Union Convention Center.
The event is free and open to the public.
