BuCor promotes heads of Sablayan and Davao prison facilities
The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) has promoted the heads of its two prison facilities in the country.
Promoted from the rank of chief inspector to the rank of superintendent were C/Supt. Abel DR. Ciruela, the acting superintendent of the Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm (SPPF) in Occidental Mindoro, and C/Supt. Edgardo F. Mendoza Jr., the acting superintendent of the Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF).
The two promoted officials took their oath before BuCor Director General Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr. last Feb. 13.
“This promotion reflects the ongoing efforts of the Bureau to promote and recognize the outstanding performance of qualified and competent personnel,” the BuCor said in a statement issued on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
It also said that the bureau has been strengthening its organizational integrity and reaffirming its dedication to deliver efficient, accountable, and responsive corrections service.
