Five more new officials of the Department of Justice (DOJ) have assumed their posts after taking their oath of office before Acting Justice Secretary Fredderick A. Vida.
The new officials are Assistant Secretaries Maria Charina V. Buena-Dy Po, Jose Marino C. Bernardez, and Maria Elisa B. Germar; and Directors Leonayda V. Angostora for administrative service and Emmanuel Lowell A. Pandaan for financial service.
Earlier, then assistant secretary Majken Anika S. Gran-Ong had assumed her new post as undersecretary.
During their oath taking, Vida told them: “Your appointments carry a duty to serve with integrity, urgency, and accountability.”
He also reminded them: “Our marching order is clear: deliver Real Justice for All in Real Time, justice that is accessible, responsive, and felt by every Filipino.”
At the same time, Vida instructed them to strengthen governance systems, enhance service delivery mechanisms, and consistently uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical leadership across the DOJ.
